Traditional Services

All too often, families discount the value of ceremony after the death of a loved one, and we certainly don’t want you to make that mistake. Coming together after a loss is a very essential part of the grieving process.

Traditional Chapel Service

Traditional Chapel Service

A traditional chapel service is when the family has chosen to have a viewing of the body the day before the service with a chapel service at our facility. At the conclusion of the service, a procession to the cemetery for the final committal takes place. This service may be altered in order to meet the family’s wishes.

Death Away from Home

We have specifically designed our Web site to serve the needs of the families within the Porterville area. However, many times these families are traveling. When the need arises, you can call us any time at (559) 784-5454 to arrange for services. Even if death occurs away from home, we can still arrange all of the details for you right here in Porterville, regardless of where the death occurs. In most instances, we can act as your agent to see that all your wishes are carried out. There is no need for you to make a long trip and deal with strangers. We can also make the necessary arrangements for burial in a distant city. This frees you from traveling to that city for the purpose of handling the details. If it becomes necessary to enlist the services of a funeral home elsewhere, we recommend choosing a funeral home that is independently owned or a member of Selected Independent Funeral Homes. These funeral homes will serve families with the highest standards of excellence.

You Can Never Go Back and Do it Over

Some say it’s harsh to remind you of this, but we know we must. We want you to honor your loved one in a way that allows you to look back, years from now, and be thankful that you did the best you could to honor their life. Creating a ceremony that calls together the hearts and minds of all who loved them is a gift to everyone involved. A gift of memories, a gift of healing...a truly priceless gift of peace-of-mind.
