Sharon L. Aylesworth

Sharon Aylesworth, age 62, of Porterville, CA, passed away on January 15, 2024. She was born on November 14, 1961, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Sharon was a well accomplished Office Manager in the dental field in the greater San Jose area. Also, an equally successful Real Estate Broker serving many communities in California.

Sharon was a selfless and sacrificing individual, known for her loving and caring nature. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother, but her focus and energy were primarily dedicated to her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 43 years David Aylesworth Sr. Her sister Deborah Voss, Sondra Serenka, and Karen McCauley, as well as her brother, Russell Serenka Jr. She is also survived by her son David Aylesworth Jr., her daughter-in-law Denise Aylesworth, and her daughter Deborah Aylesworth. Sharon was a cherished grandmother to David Manokaimana, Jonathan-Michael, Tyson- Gabriel Josiah and Alynna. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell, and Helen Serenka.

Sharon received her education at Santa Teresa Elementary and Bernal Middle, followed by Santa Teresa High School. She continued her higher education at West Valley/Evergreen Junior College.

Sharon found joy in traveling, especially when it involved visiting her family. However, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren. They brought her immense joy and filled her life with love.

Sharon worshiped for a time at St. Julie Brilliart Parish in South San Jose.

A private family service will be held on February 17, 2024 at St. Julie's. Additionally, a celebration of life will take place on February 18, 2024 at Rancho Santa Teresa Swim Club, located at 286 Sorrento Way, San Jose 95119.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, in Sharon's memory.

Sharon Aylesworth will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her selflessness, love, and dedication will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace.
