Norma Jean Hayes

Norma Jean "Jeannie" Hayes, age 73, of Terra Bella, went to Heaven on June 11, 2024. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by immediate family.

Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Troy Hayes; her stepdaughter, Kaitlyn Hayes; and her brother, Cecil Clark and sister-in-law Vicki Clark. She is also survived by many extended family members throughout California and Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Clark; her sister, Leona O'Banion; and her parents, Viola Clark-Logsdon and Gaylord Clark.

Born in Pennsylvania, Jeannie moved to California at the age of 19. She had a fulfilling career in management with Honeywell, where she worked for 25 years. Upon retirement, Jeannie embraced her love for music by starting Jeangle's Karaoke, a business through which she brought joy and entertainment to many.

Jeannie was known for her love of singing, poolside gatherings, barbecues, and traveling the world with her husband. Her generous heart, endless smile, and warm spirit touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Viewing and Visitation will be held at Myers Chapel in Porterville, California on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A private celebration of Jeannie's life will be held at a later date.
