Margaret Mary Bodoh

Margaret "Peggy" Bodoh was born in Oakland, CA on August 25th, 1951 to her parents Mary and Richard Daley as the fifth of six children.
Her family found a home in the San Fernando Valley where she eventually met her husband Charles "Chuck" Bodoh. They married on June 28th of 1969. After the birth of their first two children Charles "Hobie" Bodoh and Kathleen Bodoh, they searched for a better place to raise their children and settled in Porterville in 1973. They completed their family with the birth of their youngest Patrick Bodoh in 1974. As a devout Catholic, Peggy enrolled her children in St. Anne's school. Much of her time was spent with her children and volunteering at their school. As her children grew up and began leaving home, Peggy joined the Catholic Daughters. Around this time, she happily welcomed her first grandchild into the family. After a few years and a few more grandchildren, her husband Chuck passed away. She leaned on her family to help her through this difficult time. She dedicated her later life to her grandchildren. You could often find her chauffeuring them around to events or sitting on the sidelines at soccer games with Gatorade and goodie bags. She loved baking with her grandkids and telling stories about her younger days.
Peggy left us to be with our Heavenly Father on November 2nd, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Richard Daley, her five brothers Michael, Pat, Paul, Dan, and Mark, her eldest son Hobie, and her greatest love, Chuck Bodoh. She is survived by her two children Kathleen and Patrick, her nine grandchildren Kaitlyn, Anthony, Sara, Allie, Charlie, Alyssa, DJ, Charles, and Nate, and ten great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Myers Reception hall in Porterville on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A rosary will be held at Myers Reception hall in Porterville on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Cross Church on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 9:00 AM. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
