Ismael Nevarez Rodriguez, age 79, a farm laborer and resident of Porterville, CA, passed away on Saturday March 11, 2023.
Ismael is survived by his wife of 53 years, Josefina Rodriguez; 2 daughters, Rita Martinez and Connie Rodriguez; 2 sons, Ismael Rodriguez Jr. and Felipe Rodriguez; 2 sisters, Guadalupe Nevarez from Nogales Sonora, MX and Maria Cuevas from Santa Clara, CA; 1 brother, Felipe Reyes from Durango, MX; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Ismael was preceded in death by his Mother, Rita Nevarez; and a son Jesus Manuel Rodriguez.
A visitation will be held at Myers Chapel, Porterville, CA on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A rosary will be held at Myers Chapel, Porterville, CA on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 6:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Cross Church, Porterville, CA. On Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Interment to be private.
