Gary Stephen Giraudi

Gary Giraudi, 83, passed away in Porterville, California on December 12, 2025. He was the son of the late Steve and Katie Della Giraudi.

Born in Porterville, he was a lifelong resident of the area. Gary was a graduate of St. Anne's School, Porterville High School class of 1960, Porterville Jr. College, and California State University, Fresno. He began his teaching career at Saucelito Elementary School and continued on as Superintendent of Columbine School District. He then became affiliated with Service Corporation International managing funeral homes throughout Tulare County. He and his late wife, Karlin, were married in St. Anne's Church spending over 60 years together. A member of St. Anne's Church, Gary was a 52 year member of the Knights of Columbus. He served on the St. Anne's School Board as Secretary for over 20 years. He was also a past board member of the Porterville Sheltered Workshop, Porterville Downtown Association and the Porterville Chamber of Commerce. Gary was a graduate of the Chambers Leadership Program and later served as the Program Chairman and Director. In 2004, he was honored by the city and Chamber as "Man of the Year". He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Tulare, the Tulare-Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Porterville Noon Rotary and past president of the Porterville Noon Lions.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife Karlin. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Jeff) Saunders of Porterville and Lisa (Justin) Haines of Visalia; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Bill Fusco of Porterville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Signe and Jim Shank of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; grandchildren Mitchell Hensley, Micaela Hensley, Brittaney Ordiway; and great-granddaughter Paislee Sipes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Myers Chapel in Porterville, California on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel, Porterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne's Church in Porterville on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery in Porterville.
