Delia Cervantes, a lifelong resident of Porterville, California, passed away on August 26, 2026, in Visalia, California, surrounded by her loving family.

Delia was full of life and had a joyful spirit that touched those around her. She loved to dance, sing, and listen to music, as well as cook, travel with her family, and spend time with her friends and loved ones. Some of her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by family, sharing laughter, music, and making memories together. Her family meant everything to her, and the love and joy she brought into their lives will always be treasured.

Delia worked at Beckman Coulter for 18 years, where she formed many friendships throughout her years there.

Delia is survived by her daughter, Elissa Cervantes Cortez, and son-in-law, Miguel Cortez; her son, Jorge Cervantes Jr., and daughter-in-law, Adrianna Velasquez; her beloved grandchildren, Tatiana Cortez, Jase Cervantes, Audrey Cervantes, and Ethan Cervantes; her sisters, Lidia Carrillo and Maria Laura Batiz Gonzalez; and her brothers, Danny Gonzales and Mario Gonzales. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Cervantes Sr.; her beloved son, Joey Cervantes and her parents, Bulfrano & Virginia Gonzalez

Delia will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her joyful spirit and the many memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

A Viewing will be held at Myers Reception Hall in Porterville, California on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Myers Reception Hall in Porterville, California on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at

Hillcrest Memorial Park in Porterville, California.
