Darcy Ann Padilla

Darcy Ann Thorne Padilla was born on October 9th, 1967 to Lois and Malcom Thorne in Honolulu Hawaii.

Darcy attended grammar schools in Canada, Germany and Porterville. She graduated from Monache High School and was in the color guard. Darcy is survived by her husband Micky Padilla, her sons, Jared and Brandon Padilla, her sister Stacy Fraizer and her nephews Zachary and Kash.

Darcy and Micky met in 1993, fell in love and were married on April 18, 1998. They welcomed their first born son Jared Daniel on June 28, 2000, and their second son Brandon Ryan was born on March 16, 2002. Darcy and Micky shared 30 years of life and love together.

Darcy passed on into eternal rest on October 31, 2023 with her husband Micky and her son's Brandon and Jared by her side. Darcy was kind, understanding and patient. She opened her house to all. She was generous, fun loving and saw the best in everyone. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, making bread, entertaining friends and family, water skiing, lakes, rivers and snow skiing, bargain shopping and the casino! She loved the holidays, especially Christmas as she truly enjoyed playing Christmas songs and decorating. She also enjoyed dancing to old school country songs, (Mom's songs), driving the kids crazy. Darcy was a loving daughter, sister, daughter in law, auntie, wife, mother and friend. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. She has always had a radiant smile when anyone approached her at work or in the community. She was one of the first people to greet you in the front office at the Porterville Developmental Center where she was employed for 18 years. Darcy was very personable and willing to help anyone that asked. Darcy will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her and especially by her family and friends.

A Service will be held at Myers Chapel in Porterville, California on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Interment to be Private.
