Cecilia Miguel Bueno

Cecilia, age 84, of Porterville, California passed away on June 9, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on August 26, 1941, in the Philippines.

Cecilia lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and love for family and friends. Throughout her life, she was known as the strength and glue that held her family together. She also led the way for her family's migration from the Philippines to California.

Cecilia worked as a Certified Nurse Aid and took great pride in helping people in need. She enjoyed singing and dancing and found joy in spending time with family and friends.

Cecilia is survived by brothers Bernardo Miguel and Virgilio Miguel; sisters Adelina Pasion and Melody Acoba; and her only son, Alan Bueno.

She was preceded in death by her father, Florencio; her mother, Crispina; brother Rodolfo Miguel; and sister Adelaida Pilien.

Those who knew Cecilia will remember her for her generosity, kindness, and fierce spirit. Her legacy of love, compassion, and generosity will continue to inspire all whose lives she touched.

A Visitation will be held at Myers Reception Hall in Porterville, California on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Rosary will be held at Myers Reception Hall in Porterville, California on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM. A Vigil will be held at Myers Reception Hall in Porterville, California on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery in Porterville, California.

Cecilia will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
