Arcadio "Freddy" Esquivel Diaz

Arcadio was born on January 17, 1927, in East Los Angeles, Califoria. He passed on May 4, 2025 at the age of 98 years.

He was born to Gilberto y Lucia Diaz. Arcadio was the last of 11 siblings. Arcadio is survived by his son, Michael Diaz Sr. of Porterville, California. Daughter Raquel Williams and Husband Roy Williams of Porterville, California. He is survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Arcadio was proceeded in death by his wife of 44 years (who passed away on November 26, 1998) Rachel B. Diaz; daughters, Sandra Diaz and Sandra Mari Diaz; and son, Alfredo Diaz.

Arcadio and his family operated many businesses: Diaz Mobile Gas Station, El Encanto Bar and Grill, El Capri Restaurant, El Capri #2, La Pearla Market and Diaz the little shop.

Arcadio worked for Hunt's Foods in Fullerton, CA and Lindsay Olives in Lindsay, CA. He also worked as a farm laborer, he was a foreman in the orange fields for Sal Sierra, Jr., Konda Brothers, and sierra King Grape Vineyards.
