Martha Morgan

Miss Martha La Freda Morgan was Born on April 14, 1924 in Scotland, Van Buren County Arkansas. She passed on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Fresno, California at the age of 96.
She was the 2nd child of Joseph Vernon and Leona Wilma Morgan. Her family moved from Scotland, Van Buren County, Arkansas in 1931, to San Joaquin Valley, California. She lived and schooled through high school in Porterville, Tulare County, California from 1931 through 1941.
She graduated with a degree in education from Fresno State University and taught elementary school at Mickey Cox Elementary and A.D. Ewing Elementary Schools. She retired after 45 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her only sibling, Felcia Lorain Penrod; she is also preceded in death by her nephew, Larry Penrod. She is survived by her family, Keith Penrod, Kari Lynn Pierce, Troy Penrod, Jessica Koopmans and their families. Niece Janice Vogt; grandnephews, Robert & Kristine Salomonson, Eric & Kimberly Salomonson, Brian & Cyndi Salomonson, Bill & Devon Vogt, and their families; nephew, Gregory Penrod; grandnephews, Ryan & Nicole Penrod, Rand & Teri Penrod and their families.
