She is survived by her daughters, Savina Gibson, Janice Sorondo and Amanda Sierra; Son, Gilbert Sorondo; Sisters, Vivian Nieto and Denise Hunter; 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Garfield; son, George Barrios; parents, Floyd and Juanita Hunter; brothers, Florentino Hunter and Julian Hunter. A Visitation will be held at Mater Dolorosa Mission, Tule River Indian Reservation, Porterville, California on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Graveside service will be held at Tule River Indian Reservation, Upper Cemetery, Porterville, California. on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
