Frances G. Mendez

Frances G. Mendez, a daycare provider and resident of Porterville, California passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born in Plainview, Texas on December 21, 1942. She was 78.
Frances enjoyed gardening and listening to Tejano music. She is survived her daughter, Alicia Palomino; sons, Roberto Mendez, Jr., Ruben Mendez and Armando Mendez; sisters, Mary Galvan, Rosa Galvan, Lucy Hernandez; brothers, Rudy Galvan, Johnny Galvan, and Arthur Flores; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Agustin and Anselma Galvan; husband, Roberto Mendez; son, Reynaldo Mendez; sisters, Virginia Galvan and Gloria Galvan; brothers, Agustin Galvan, Jr., Jessie Galvan, Raul Galvan and Joe Galvan; and grandson, Julian Joe Palomino, Jr.
Visitation will be held at Myers Chapel, Porterville on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Rosary will be held at Myers Chapel, Porterville on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Cross Church, Porterville on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 11:.00 AM. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
