Myers began a new tradition in December 1995 known as the Myers Christmas Memorial Tree.

Since the holiday season can be a particularly difficult time for those who have experienced a death in the family, this tradition is offered to reinforce the love and memories of that loved one.

Families are invited to call our office during the last half of November to reserve a personalized Christmas tree ornament bearing the name of their loved one. They may then come by the chapel to place the ornament on the Memorial Tree beginning the Sunday after Thanksgiving, between the hours of 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

A non-denominational memorial service is held in early December, and everyone is invited to attend and participate. This is a community-wide event -- it is not limited to those families who have used the services of Myers Funeral Service -- and is offered free of charge to all.
